TAIPEI, Taiwan – The global cycling community is officially on the clock as organizers announce the final preparations for the Taipei Cycle Show 2026. Scheduled to take place from March 25 to 28 at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Centre (Halls 1 and 2), the event is poised to be its largest iteration yet, reinforcing its status as the primary strategic hub for the international bicycle trade.

This year’s show, operating under the empowering slogan “Cycling to Wellness,” is expected to host more than 900 exhibitors across 3,450 booths. The international scale is particularly striking, with 200 exhibitors from 30 different countries and an anticipated 3,600-plus high-level international buyers ready to descend on Taipei. Unlike previous years that focused heavily on post-pandemic recovery, the 2026 edition is being framed as a “problem-solving hub” for an industry pivoting toward sustainability and health-centric technology.
Four Pillars of the 2026 Experience
The show’s architecture is built around four defining themes: Cycling Innovation, Riding Passion, Supply Chain, and Sustainability. These pillars are designed to provide a comprehensive, end-to-end view of the industry’s current health and its future trajectory.

A major highlight remains the TAIPEI CYCLE d&i awards, which will showcase market-defining products that have successfully pushed the boundaries of form and function. This year, the awards have put a spotlight on “refined innovation”—products that improve the complete user experience, from safety features inspired by the automotive sector to accessories designed specifically for a growing demographic of older riders.
The Cycling Lifestyle Area will serve as the cultural heart of the show, bridging the gap between technical manufacturing and consumer culture. Here, the “Riding Passion” theme comes to life, connecting technical exhibitors with the lifestyle trends that drive global demand.
Industry Leaders Signal Strategic Shifts
For major players in the supply chain, Taipei remains the indispensable date on the calendar. Dominic Langan, CEO of Madison, emphasized that the show is about more than just browsing products. “It allows us to meet face-to-face with our key suppliers, align on future development plans, and explore new opportunities while gaining a clear view of where the global cycle market is heading,” Langan stated.

Claudio Marra, General Manager of FSA Europe, echoed this sentiment, noting that despite a changing industry landscape, Taipei remains the “strategic hub” for meeting OEM partners and distributors. The sentiment is shared by emerging powerhouses like Elitewheels, whose CEO Tony Tong announced that the brand would use the platform to debut three special edition colorways, further cementing their commitment to the vibrant Taiwan market.
Sustainability and the Future of Mobility
As the world shifts toward low-carbon policies, the 2026 show will feature an expanded focus on Supply Chain and Sustainability. Attendees will have access to high-level panel discussions regarding e-bike trends in German-speaking markets, the role of bicycles in city mobility, and circular production models.

A new addition for 2026, the “Motion Vision” Startup and Innovation Zone, will showcase how core bicycle technologies are being cross-applied to fields like AI and health-tech. This initiative is designed to connect visionary minds with the investors needed to accelerate the integration of smart technology into active mobility.
