Sunway, Kuala Lumpur – Under Armour, in collaboration with JomRun, successfully hosted the UA Infinite Race on May 3rd, a night marathon designed to highlight the high-performance capabilities of UA Run gear, particularly the UA Infinite Pro 2 and UA Launch Elite collections. The event brought together Malaysian runners in a powerful display of endurance, comfort, and the collective spirit of the running community.
Inspired by Under Armour’s motto to “Protect This House” – emphasizing drawing strength from one’s team and community – the marathon offered categories that tested both individual resilience and collaborative teamwork. The race featured a 21.1km individual category for men and women, alongside a team relay category where two runners each completed 10.5km. This format underscored the values of strength, support, and peak performance, reflecting the dedication seen within Malaysia’s vibrant running scene.

At the UA Infinite Race, it was inspiring to see runners united by their goals: to challenge themselves, support each other in achieving their personal bests, or push through together as a team,” said Samantha Lim, Commercial Director of Under Armour Malaysia.
The event celebrated numerous personal achievements, with top finishers across various categories recognized for their impressive times:
WOMEN’S INDIVIDUAL 21.1KM WINNER:
- Noor Amelia Musa – completed the race in 1 hour, 32 minutes, and 38 seconds.
MEN’S INDIVIDUAL 21.1KM WINNER:
- Hazman Akmal Bin Mohd Zalghani – completed the race in 1 hour, 14 minutes, and 41 seconds.
WOMEN’S RELAY 21.1KM WINNER:
- Nurul Juliana Shakira Binti Abdul Halim & Nur Syaripah BT Rozaki – completed the race in 1 hour, 31 minutes, and 58 seconds.
MEN’S RELAY 21.1KM WINNER:
- Daren James Nair & Gautham A/L Vadivelu – completed the race in 1 hour, 12 minutes, and 50 seconds.
MIXED RELAY 21.1KM WINNER:
- Muhaizar Bin Mohamad & Lee Siok Chin – completed the race in 1 hour, 24 minutes, and 5 seconds.
Adding a distinct local flavor to the event, Under Armour introduced the Infinite Café photobooth. This unique activation was inspired by the Malaysian tradition of marathoners seeking out local cafes, or kopitiam, for their favorite post-run coffee. Runners and participants eagerly captured their race-day memories with the latest UA Run gear, embodying a true Malaysian running spirit.
