Marking the brand’s entry into the elite race-day footwear category, the new silhouette represents Skechers’ first “super shoe,” engineered strictly according to World Athletics™ compliance standards to support competitive distance runners targeting personal records across distances from 5K up to the full marathon.
The release marks a significant milestone in the evolution of the brand’s technical AERO series, following the earlier 2026 rollouts of the SKX® AERO Burst, SKX® AERO Spark, Skechers AERO Pulse™, and Skechers AERO Razor™.

Built on a lightweight, race-oriented geometry, the Skechers AERO Elite™ integrates high-tier mechanical features designed to maximize propulsion, energy return, and running economy during high-velocity efforts.
The core underfoot architecture combines three primary performance components:
- HYPER BURST PRO™ Midsole: Constructed using an ultra-lightweight, nitrogen-infused Super Critical® foam compound that provides responsive cushioning and high resilience without adding excess mass.
- Full-Length Carbon-Infused Quantum Plate™: Positioned within the midsole stack, the rigid carbon plate acts as a lever to increase propulsive torque, enhance torsional stability, and deliver optimal energy return with each foot strike.
