PUMA Shifts Focus to Everyday Runners in Uplifting New Campaign

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – PUMA Southeast Asia (SEA) is putting the spotlight on everyday runners with the launch of its first-ever running commercial video, “See The Run Like We Do.” This campaign celebrates the diverse and passionate running community across Southeast Asia, moving the focus away from elite athletes and podium finishes.

The commercial coincides with the launch of the new Deviate NITRO™ 3 shoe, designed with the needs of all runners in mind. It features cutting-edge technology like PUMAGRIP for traction, PWRTAPE for support, and nitrogen-infused NITRO™ foam for comfort and propulsion.

But PUMA’s commitment goes beyond footwear. The brand is dedicated to fostering a strong running community in Southeast Asia, where runners face unique challenges like extreme humidity and a lack of established running culture. To address this, PUMA is launching local initiatives like the PUMA NITRO Run Club across Malaysia, Singapore, Indonesia, Thailand, and the Philippines.

“We created this video to resonate with everyday runners, not just the elite,” said Eleanor Wang, Marketing Director at PUMA Southeast Asia. “We believe running is for everyone, and we’re committed to celebrating and supporting the diverse running community across Southeast Asia. By focusing on real people and their stories, we aim to inspire more people to embrace running as a joyful, inclusive, and judgment-free experience.”

The “See The Run Like We Do” campaign encourages runners to celebrate their personal victories, whether it’s overcoming challenges, improving health, or building resilience. The commercial is a testament to PUMA’s belief that every runner’s journey deserves recognition.
