Ajinomoto (M) Berhad Congratulates Medalists of 32nd SEA Games 2023 under ASEAN Victory Project®

SEREMBAN, 1 JUNE 2023 – Ajinomoto (Malaysia) Berhad (AMB) joyously celebrates the triumphant return of our national athletes, who brought immense honor to our nation in the 32nd SEA Games held in Cambodia 2023. To honor their achievements, a grand victory celebration was organized on 1st June 2023 at the AMB Factory in Bandar Enstek. The event aimed to extend heartfelt congratulations to three exceptional national athletes who participated in the SEA Games as part of the ASEAN Victory Project®, namely Andre Anura Anuar, who clinched the gold medal in triple jump, and Queenie Ting Kung Ni and Nor Sarah Adi, who each secured a silver medal in discus throw and pole vault, respectively.

In preparation for the 32nd SEA Games in Cambodia, these three remarkable athletes received comprehensive training on sports nutrition and were provided with well-balanced meals through the esteemed Winning Meals Kachimeshi® sports nutrition program under the ASEAN Victory Project®. Expressing their gratitude, all three athletes shared that the ‘Winning Meals’ Kachimeshi® program played a pivotal role in unlocking their true potential and enabling them to achieve phenomenal success in the 2023 SEA Games.

During the celebration event, Mr. Tomoharu Abe, the Managing Director of AMB, delivered an opening speech expressing his hopes for the continued support and benefit of Malaysians, particularly athletes and the active public, through the Winning Meals Kachimeshi® program, thereby promoting the practice of ‘healthy eating, active living.’

Did you know that the liver is the hardest working organ in the body, second only to the heart?

AMB’s involvement in sports nutrition dates back to 2019 when it collaborated with the Ministry of Education Malaysia in the ‘Sports Nutrition Awareness Project.’ This initiative aimed to educate and raise awareness among student athletes about the significance of sports nutrition as part of the Ajinomoto Group Creating Shared Value (ASV) initiative. Currently, the project is ongoing and involves three prestigious national sports schools: Bukit Jalil Sports School, Malaysia Pahang Sports School, and Sabah Malaysian Sports School.
