Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Calling all padel enthusiasts! Gear up for some exciting competition as Volvo Car Malaysia unveils the nation’s first and biggest official padel tournament – the Volvo Padel Open. This grand event offers a chance for both seasoned and new players to showcase their skills and vie for a share of a RM100,000 prize pool.
The tournament will be held across two weekends, from June 8th to 15th, 2024. Volvo Car Malaysia has partnered with all Klang Valley padel clubs – ASCARO Padel & Social Club, Padelground, and PadelKu – to make this a truly inclusive event and foster the padel community in Malaysia.
Participants will compete in four categories: Intermediate, Open, Women’s, and Wildcard. To ensure fair competition, all players will be assessed upon registration to determine their skill level and eligible category.
Registration is open now and closes on May 24th, 2024, or until slots are filled. It’s a steal at a one-time fee of RM200 per team, with an even better offer of RM100 if at least one player is a Volvo owner.
