The 2024 edition of Sports and Fitness Taiwan (TaiSPO) concluded successfully on March 9th, bringing together thousands of industry leaders and enthusiasts from over 80 countries. Held at the Taipei Nangang Exhibition Center, the event served as a platform to unveil the latest advancements in sports technology, fitness trends, and outdoor recreation.

This year’s TaiSPO focused on three key themes: “Dynamic Fitness Society,” “Alternative Leisure Lifestyle,” and “Sports Tech Next Level.” These themes reflected the growing importance of technology in enhancing athletic performance, the increasing popularity of diverse outdoor activities, and the overall shift towards a more active and healthy lifestyle.
The exhibition attracted over 5,000 international visitors, highlighting the global appeal of Taiwan’s sports and fitness industry. Attendees were treated to a showcase of innovative products and services, ranging from cutting-edge fitness equipment to sustainable sportswear and gear for various outdoor pursuits.

Highlighting Innovation and Business Opportunities
TaiSPO’s Sport-bilities innovation zone proved to be a hotbed for the future of sports. Presented by IAPS at Yang Ming University, the zone featured a diverse range of sports technologies, including software solutions, IC chips, water purification equipment, and sports equipment. This provided excellent exposure for startup teams, attracting inquiries from domestic and international businesses and investors, thereby generating valuable business opportunities.

Showcasing Global Appeal and Diverse Content
TaiSPO 2024 introduced a richer and more diverse experience for attendees. This year, Italian fitness brand Technogym, participating for the first time, expressed that Taiwan is a market with great potential and was pleased to interact with Taiwanese customers. Synerter Corporation, another newcomer, presented an AI smart serving robot for table tennis, blending sports training and gaming with a cutting-edge approach. This innovative concept drew a significant number of engaged attendees, showcasing the transformative power of technology in sports.

Within the dedicated diving specialty pavilion, Ocean Mango highlighted the focus with which the event caters to specific target markets. This tailored approach, along with the inclusion of diverse exhibitors, attracted a wider range of attendees, fostering a vibrant and dynamic atmosphere.

Industry Forum and Looking Ahead
Meanwhile, the TaiSPO Sports Fitness Industry Forum explored topics such as gym operations and the application of sports sensing technology, attracting 300 industry professionals. This forum provided valuable insights and fostered collaboration within the industry.
Building on this success, TaiSPO 2025 will be held from March 26-29 at TaiNEX Halls 1 and 2.
