2025 TAIPEI CYCLE and TaiSPO: Pioneering Innovation and Sustainability in Cycling and Fitness

Taipei, 26 March 2025 – The 2025 TAIPEI CYCLE and TaiSPO exhibitions, organized by the Taiwan External Trade Development Council (TAITRA), have kicked off at the Nangang Exhibition Center, running from 26 to 29 March. This year’s event has achieved unprecedented success, featuring 1,200 exhibitors across 4,350 booths, solidifying its position as the premier global platform for the high-end bicycle and fitness industries.

TAIPEI CYCLE 2025: Riding the Revolution

Under the theme “Ride the Revolution,” TAIPEI CYCLE 2025 focuses on four key pillars: Innovation DriveGreen ForwardCycling Ecosystem, and Smart Cycling. The exhibition showcases leading brands such as MERIDAGIANTKMCSRAMSHIMANOIDEAL, and Maxxis, alongside national pavilions from Europe and Japan.

A significant highlight is the growing emphasis on the e-bike sector, with international exhibitors making up 20% of the total. Thermaltake, known for its vibrant cycling culture, is set to unveil premium bicycles under the Thermaltake Bicycle brand. Dyaco International, a prominent manufacturer in the fitness equipment industry, is set to enhance its visibility at TAIPEI CYCLE, showcasing its City e-Bike designed for urban commuting. Acer Gadget and Delta Electronics are set to return for their third consecutive year, showcasing their latest innovations in e-bike systems and electric motor technology.

TaiSPO 2025: Celebrating 50 Years of Fitness Innovation

Celebrating its 50th anniversary, TaiSPO 2025 highlights Taiwan’s leadership in the fitness industry. The exhibition features prominent brands such as JOHNSONDYACOJOONG CHENNALLTRADE, and CONTI, alongside new exhibitors in the Pilates field, including FONV TAIWAN and MÜVON WELLNESS, showcasing authentic Pilates reformers from South Korea.

A dedicated Diving Pavilion with 18 exhibitors introduces innovations in diving equipment, underwater photography, and diving tours. Lazuli, a subsidiary of the HCG Group, debuts its premium carbon fiber fins, while PADI, the leader in diver certification, and SOLITUDE WORLD, a luxury diving tour operator from Singapore, explore opportunities in Taiwan’s underwater tourism sector.

Innovation Zones: Shaping the Future

The Bike Vision and Sport-bilities innovation zones are key highlights of this year’s exhibitions.

  • Bike Vision: Features 11 international startups from 6 countries, focusing on electrification, smart tech, sustainability, and new business models. A Pitch & DEMO event will showcase groundbreaking technologies, while the Vision Salon hosts industry leaders like Bob Margevicius (Specialized Bicycles) and Jeff Tsai (Acer eMobility) to discuss supply chain transformations and emerging trends.
  • Sport-bilities: In partnership with the ASPN Sports Tech Accelerator, this zone highlights 11 startups advancing injury prevention, strength training, smart venue management, and outdoor tracking technology. Innovations include wellness platforms, advanced hydration solutions, and fitness solutions for sarcopenia in older adults.

Industry Forums: Insights and Strategies

The TAIPEI CYCLE Industry Forum, themed “Beyond Biking,” explores the cycling economy’s impact on brand value, urban integration, cultural exchange, lifestyle adoption, and local impact. Key figures from events like the Taiwan KOM ChallengeGiro d’Italia, and Grand Cycle Tokyo will share insights on harmonizing tourism growth with environmental sustainability.

The TaiSPO Fitness Industry Forum, themed “Fitness For All,” features sessions on global fitness strategies and Taiwan’s fitness sector. Speakers include Robert Sawhney (CEO of Watson Gym Equipment Asia-Pacific) and Michael Nendwich (Executive Director of FEDAS), discussing gym expansion, membership engagement, and innovative fitness experiences.

Taiwan Excellence Pavilion: Promoting Healthy Living

The Taiwan Excellence Pavilion returns with the theme “Go Healthy with Taiwan,” aligning with Taiwan’s “Healthy Taiwan” policy. Featuring 13 award-winning brands, including Merida and KMC, the pavilion promotes smart sports, fitness equipment, and bicycles. Visitors can collect stamps to redeem traditional Taiwanese snacks, offering a taste of Taiwan’s cycling tourism culture.

Event Details

The 2025 TAIPEI CYCLE and TaiSPO exhibitions are open to industry professionals with pre-registered QR codes, while the general public can purchase tickets for entry on 28-29 March, at Nangang Exhibition Center, Halls 1 & 2.
