Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – March 20, 2024 – In the spirit of giving back this Ramadan, prominent sportswear brand ANTA has launched its inaugural #ANTABersamaAnda shoe donation campaign.
The campaign aims to collect gently used shoes to support underserved communities. From now until April 5th, donation bins will be located at ANTA stores in The Exchange TRX, 1 Utama Shopping Centre, Sunway Pyramid (Klang Valley), and The Mall, Mid Valley Southkey (Johor Bahru). ANTA hopes to gather at least 200 pairs of shoes.
Donated shoes will be distributed to communities supported by Teach for Malaysia and Women of Will. Additionally, ANTA will provide new shoes and apparel to recipients in need.
“ANTA is thrilled to spearhead this meaningful effort, intertwining sustainability with social responsibility,” said Ms Pang Sook Fong, Country Manager of ANTA Malaysia. “By repurposing pre-loved shoes and empowering underprivileged individuals, particularly children and women, we aspire to make a tangible difference in their lives.”
As a token of appreciation, donors will receive a discount on select ANTA footwear (terms and conditions apply).
