Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia – Garmin Malaysia announces the return of the highly anticipated Garmin Run Asia Series 2024, happening this October. Embracing the theme “From Zero to Hero,” the race aims to motivate participants to achieve new heights and embrace a more active lifestyle.
Now in its third year, the Garmin Run Asia Series 2024 – Malaysia will be held on October 27, 2024, starting at 5:00 AM at Dataran Putrajaya. Runners can choose from 5km, 10km, and 21km categories, with exciting prizes awaiting the winners. Registrations open on March 25, 2024.
“The Garmin Run Asia Series is a continental running event spanning multiple Asian cities. We aim to promote a running culture, healthy living, and connections across Asia. We are proud to witness the growing passion for running in local communities. In line with our motto of ‘Beat Yesterday,’ we empower individuals to surpass their limits with every run,” shared Mr. Scoppen Lin, Assistant General Manager, Garmin Asia.
Adding to the excitement, Garmin ambassador for outdoor series, Alif Satar, will be joining the run to cheer on fellow participants.
“We are excited for this year’s Garmin Run Asia Series in Malaysia, especially with Alif Satar joining us. With the growing running culture in Malaysia, we anticipate a fantastic response. This year promises to be even bigger and better! We’re expanding our reach by kicking off the Garmin Asia Virtual Run in August, featuring 10km and 21km categories leading up to the Malaysia leg,” said Sheena Sim, Garmin Malaysia Marketing Team Lead.
The Garmin Run Asia Series 2024 – Malaysia is open for registration from March 25, 2024. Applicants must be 5 years old and above for the 5km category, 13 years old and above for the 10km category, and 18 years old and above for the 21km category. Participants under 17 must be accompanied by an adult over 18. The race is open to all nationalities.
Registration fees start from RM50 for the 5km category for a 72-hour flash sale from March 25 to 27, 2024.
