Combining plush cushioning with advanced breathability, the GEL-NIMBUS™ 27 promises a cloud-like running experience that goes the distance.
Next-Level Comfort for Runners
The GEL-NIMBUS™ 27 introduces several key upgrades to enhance comfort and performance. The shoe features an additional 2mm of FF BLAST™ PLUS ECO cushioning in the midsole, made from approximately 24% bio-based content. This innovative material not only increases softness but also maintains the shoe’s lightweight design, ensuring runners enjoy maximum comfort without added bulk.
The new Engineered Jacquard Mesh Upper replaces the previous knit design, offering improved breathability and a lightweight fit. This upgrade ensures that feet stay cool and comfortable, even during long runs.
Signature Technologies for Superior Performance
The GEL-NIMBUS™ 27 continues to leverage ASICS’ renowned PureGEL™ technology in the rearfoot. This material is 65% softer and lighter than conventional GEL™ technology, providing runners with softer landings and reduced impact on joints.
Additionally, the shoe features the HYBRID ASICSGRIP™ outsole, a strategic combination of ASICSGRIP™ and AHARPLUS™ rubber. This design delivers exceptional traction, durability, and softness, ensuring a smooth and comfortable stride on various surfaces.
