Kuala Lumpur – Under Armour celebrated International Women’s Day with its inaugural UA Stronger TogetHER event, a day dedicated to empowering women through fitness, wellness, and community. Held at Colony Star Boulevard KLCC, the event brought together women from all walks of life to experience a holistic wellness journey, highlighted by the launch of the latest UA Meridian collection in the new Silica Green colorway.

The UA Stronger TogetHER event was designed to inspire women to discover their strength, confidence, and connection within a supportive community. Partnering with CARVE, Kiehl’s, Jamboo, The Green Loft, and The Beast Project, Under Armour curated a lineup of activities that nurtured both the mind and body.
Samantha Lim, Commercial Director of Under Armour Malaysia, emphasized the event’s alignment with the brand’s motto, “Protect This House.” She said, “UA Stronger TogetHER is a reflection of our belief in building community and strength. It was inspiring to see women embark on a journey of empowerment, discovering their strength and connection within a supportive community.”

The event showcased the UA Meridian collection, designed for both performance and everyday wear. The collection features buttery smooth, lightweight, and breathable fabrics that are ultra-soft, quick-drying, and flattering. The new Silica Green colorway added a fresh and vibrant touch to the collection, which was prominently featured throughout the day’s activities.
Holistic Wellness Activities
The event kicked off with a serene rooftop yoga session led by CARVE, setting the tone for balance and self-awareness. Participants experienced the flexibility and versatility of the UA Meridian collection as they stretched and relaxed their minds and bodies.
Following yoga, attendees immersed themselves in a calming sound bath session hosted by The Green Loft. Known for its ability to reduce stress and enhance emotional well-being, the session provided a moment of deep relaxation and reflection, emphasizing the importance of inner strength in building a strong community.
Empowerment Panel Discussion
A highlight of the event was the Empowerment Panel Discussion, featuring inspiring women from various fields:
- Tan Ee Shya, Women’s National Basketball Coach and Under Armour Ambassador.
- Trisha Ooi, Actress and Martial Artist.
- Janiss Foong, Certified Master NLP Coach and Inner Child Master Coach.
- Anis Suhailah, Radio Producer and Fitness Influencer.
The panellists shared personal insights, lessons from their journeys, and advice for women striving for empowerment, all while dressed in the latest UA Meridian gear.

Nutritious Meals and Creative Activities
Wellness was a central theme, with participants treated to nutritious meals from Jamboo, including Lei Cha, smoked duck salad, sweet potato matcha drinks, and refreshing juices. A UA phone beading charm station added a creative touch, allowing participants to personalize their wellness journey with handmade charms.
Skincare and Fitness Workshops
The event also included a skincare workshop hosted by Kiehl’s, led by Trey Hoi, Education Manager of Kiehl’s Malaysia. The session focused on post-fitness skincare routines, emphasizing the importance of self-care in overall wellness.
Participants then engaged in a mat pilates session led by CARVE, showcasing the flexibility and support of the UA Meridian collection during dynamic movements and stretches. The day concluded with an Animal Flow session by The Beast Project, a dynamic, ground-based exercise that highlighted the collection’s ability to support mobility, flexibility, and mind-body coordination.
