Calling all fitness enthusiasts! The Under Armour Combine is back for its third year, offering everyday athletes a chance to test their limits and reach their full potential. This intense competition will see participants compete across eight challenging tests, designed to measure agility, stamina, vertical jump, power, endurance, strength, speed, and even cognitive function.
Pushing Your Limits:
Taking place on October 26th, 2024, the UA Combine promises to be a true test of athletic ability. Whether you’re a seasoned competitor or just starting your fitness journey, the Combine offers a platform to challenge yourself and see what you’re truly capable of.
Eight Tests, One Goal:
The competition will feature a variety of tests, pushing you in different aspects of fitness. Here’s a breakdown of what to expect:
- Agility: Test your ability to change direction quickly with the Agility Star Drill.
- Stamina: Put your endurance to the test with the Pull-up Beep Test.
- Vertical Jump: How high can you reach? The Vertical Jump Test will reveal your explosiveness.
- Power: Unleash your power with the 20m Sled Push.
- Endurance: Push yourself to the limit with another Beep Test, focusing on cardiovascular endurance.
- Strength: Max out your upper body strength with the 3RM Bench Press.
- Speed: Show off your speed with the classic 40 Yard Dash.
- Cognition: Test your mental agility with the Reactive Intelligence Wall.
Compete and Earn:
Each completed test will earn you points, with top performers in both the men’s and women’s categories taking home medals and cash prizes. First place wins a cool RM15,000, with second and third place receiving RM7,500 and RM3,000 respectively.
Strength in Numbers:
The UA Combine isn’t just about individual achievement. You can also compete as part of a team of four. Team scores will be based on the combined performance of each member, with the winning team taking home RM6,000 worth of Under Armour gear.
