KUALA LUMPUR, Malaysia – In a highly anticipated reunion after 13 years, adidas and Liverpool FC have launched the club’s new Home and Away jerseys for the 2025/26 season. The partnership, which officially began on August 1st, marks the third time the two global icons have collaborated, following memorable eras from 1985-1996 and 2006-2012. The new collection provides a blend of cutting-edge performance technology and a deep respect for the club’s rich heritage.
The new Home jersey presents the club’s DNA in its purest form. A classic, timeless design features a dark strawberry red colourway as its base, complemented by the iconic adidas three-stripes in white running down the sleeves. The legendary Liver Bird crest is emblazoned on the chest, while a clean-cut crew-neck collar and bespoke ribbing on the cuffs give the silhouette a modern, athletic look that honours LFC’s legacy. The jersey is paired with matching red shorts and socks, with the socks featuring the adidas three-stripes and an ‘LFC’ sign-off.
The new Away jersey draws inspiration from LFC’s storied past, landing in a classic off-white cream colour with black and red detailing. A unique element of the design is the crest, where the Liver Bird sits within a shield. The shield’s shape is a reimagined nod to the original main stand at Anfield stadium from 1906, offering a direct link to the club’s origins. This kit comes with two options for shorts and socks, allowing for either a black shorts and off-white socks combination or vice-versa.


Both on-field and fan versions of the jersey are crafted with adidas’s latest performance technology. The on-field kit is constructed with advanced materials to maximize airflow, ensuring players remain cool under pressure. The fan version incorporates sweat-wicking and absorbent materials to keep supporters feeling dry and comfortable.

The Home jersey is a true representation of the Liverpool DNA – classy and understated, while the Away jersey pays homage to the club’s rich history.“
Ben Latty, Chief Commercial Officer at LFC, highlighted that this launch is just the beginning of a long-term commitment. “This is more than just the launch of a new kit – it marks the beginning of a 10-year relationship for LFC and adidas. Since announcing the partnership in March, there’s been a huge sense of anticipation and excitement. This first collection sets the tone for seasons to come.”
The launch extends beyond the main kits, with a wider collection of lifestyle apparel. This includes a Pre-Match jersey inspired by the iconic Shankly Gates, a Z.N.E. football Anthem jacket with a ‘YNWA’ sign-off, and a bespoke LFC Samba trainer featuring the club’s crest.


To celebrate the launch, adidas and Liverpool FC released a launch film titled ‘Your Dream. Our Reality’, featuring a blend of current players like Mohamed Salah and Virgil van Dijk, alongside club legends such as Sir Kenny Dalglish and Ian Rush.

In conjunction with this reunion, adidas Malaysia is hosting a special pop-up event from August 4-10 at Pavilion Kuala Lumpur, Level 3 Connection. This dedicated space for Liverpool fans will feature a Champions Wall showcasing the club’s trophies, a display of the new home and away kits, and a special initiative where fans can write and mail handwritten messages directly to the players at Anfield.
