Kuala Lumpur, May 8, 2024 – New Balance is dedicating the entire month of May to celebrating its iconic color, Grey. This multi-week event, aptly named “Grey Days,” will spotlight both new and classic expressions of the brand’s enduring legacy in this signature hue.

To pay tribute to this enduring color, New Balance will release a short film titled “Grey Days” on May 10th. This seven-minute film, created by American Haiku, will be a compilation of vignettes showcasing the brand’s impact on various facets of global sneaker culture, from sports to streetwear.
The film will feature a blend of 1960s retro animation, still photography, and footage that captures the essence of New Balance’s history.
Exclusive Products and Grey Days Event
Throughout May, New Balance will launch a series of exclusive products, including:
- 1 May, 2024: The Grey Shop launches online and in New Balance stores, featuring a curated selection of new and existing Grey styles across various categories, including lifestyle, performance, and kids.
- 17 May, 2024: The limited-edition “Grey Days” WRPD Runner and 1906R shoes are released. These special designs boast material mixes and distressed details inspired by the enduring qualities of stone.
- 20 May, 2024: The pinnacle running shoe, Fresh Foam X 1080, gets a Grey makeover with suede detailing and a classic tonal colorway.
A special Grey Days event will be held at Slate at The Row KL from 17-19 May, 2024. This event will feature:
