ASICS Malaysia officially introduced the newest iteration of its flagship speed-oriented tennis footwear, the SOLUTION SPEED™ FF 4, during an immersive on-court event at the Mouratoglou Tennis Courts, located within EPSOM College in Malaysia. The launch serves as a tangible expression of ASICS’ global “Move Your Body, Move Your Mind” campaign, emphasizing the brand’s 75-year-old founding philosophy of Anima Sana In Corpore Sano—a Sound Mind in a Sound Body.

The event transformed the elite Mouratoglou facility into a high-performance training ground, bringing together national athletes, media, and students from EPSOM College. Participants were put through their paces in a circuit-style format, rotating through specialized stations designed to test agility, reaction time, and court coverage—key areas where the Solution Speed series is engineered to excel.
Engineered for the All-Court Speedster
The SOLUTION SPEED™ FF 4 is meticulously crafted for “all-court” players—those who rely on explosive speed to transition from the baseline to the net. As the lightest model in the ASICS tennis lineup, the FF 4 introduces several technical upgrades aimed at shaving milliseconds off a player’s reaction time.

At the heart of the shoe is the FLYTEFOAM™ midsole, which has been updated with bio-based materials to offer responsive cushioning while maintaining a featherweight profile. Complementing this is the refined SPEEDTRUSS™ technology. Positioned in the midsole, this system acts as a springboard, improving torsional stability during sharp lateral cuts and helping propel the foot forward during high-intensity sprints.

To ensure players can pivot with confidence, the shoe features a PRECISION-SOLE™ outsole, developed using AI-assisted data to provide optimal traction. This is paired with ASICSGRIP™ rubber in the toe area, providing the necessary bite for sudden stops and rapid directional changes. Additionally, the upper includes a new PU (polyurethane) loop system on the medial side to protect laces and high-wear areas, a direct response to feedback from professional athletes who require extra durability during aggressive slides.
A Strategic Partnership with Global Influence
The choice of venue was significant, highlighting ASICS’ global partnership with the Mouratoglou Academy, founded by legendary coach Patrick Mouratoglou. This collaboration, which began in mid-2025, sees over 100 Mouratoglou coaches across France, the USA, and Malaysia equipped with ASICS footwear.

“The coach is the most important figure in a player’s life on the court,” said Boon Tib Soon Nik, Country Manager of ASICS Malaysia. “Through this partnership and the launch of the SOLUTION SPEED™ FF 4, we are reaffirming our commitment to the tennis ecosystem. We believe that movement is a catalyst for sharper performance and a positive mindset, whether you are a grassroots student or an elite competitor.”

By integrating the methodology of one of the world’s leading tennis academies into the product launch, ASICS aimed to show that elite gear is most effective when paired with elite coaching. The sessions at EPSOM College were led by resident coaches, emphasizing the technical synergy between footwear innovation and professional training.
