Sunway Pyramid, Kuala Lumpur – Under Armour has officially relaunched its newly relocated store at Sunway Pyramid, unveiling a dynamic Brand House City concept that fuses the brand’s commitment to performance and innovation with distinctive Malaysian architectural elements. The expansive 3,936 square-foot space, located on the Lower Ground Floor, aims to provide a refreshed retail experience that reflects authenticity, strength, and movement.
The revamped Under Armour Brand House welcomes visitors with bold aesthetics and thoughtful design, characterized by signature red and neutral tones. A unique feature designed specifically for Malaysia is the cash-wrap area, which incorporates a brick wall inspired by heritage architecture found in Kuala Lumpur, Penang, and Melaka. This design element pays tribute to the country’s rich historical legacy and evokes a sense of nostalgia. Additionally, the store introduces the FLEX Zone, a relaxing area with casual seating nestled between the fitting rooms, offering customers a space to unwind while browse.
“At Under Armour, ‘Protect This House’ has always inspired athletes to push their limits and stay strong with an empowering mindset,” said Samantha Lim, Commercial Director of Under Armour Malaysia. “With this refreshed Brand House, we’re creating a space where Malaysia’s fitness community can discover new gear, connect and gear up to protect their own house.”
In line with Under Armour’s global commitment to sustainability, the new store design integrates eco-conscious materials and processes, significantly reducing embodied carbon emissions and marking a step towards more responsible retail environments.
The new store will showcase key lifestyle collections, including the innovative L4L (Local for Local) Urban Outdoors collection. This collection is designed with an Asian fit for everyday comfort, suitable for both daily wear and sports activities. Featured pieces include the Urban Outdoors Hybrid Jacket, Urban Adventure Series Outdoor Shell Jacket, Urban Outdoors Isochill Long Sleeve, and Urban Outdoors Daily Shorts, complemented by the U Soft Movement Slide and U Soft Movement Sandals. The store will also feature the latest UA Echo and UA Unstoppable collections, providing a wide range of performance-driven and lifestyle options.
