Garmin Run Asia Series 2025 Returns to Ignite Running Passion in Malaysia and Beyond

The highly anticipated Garmin Run Asia Series is back for its fourth consecutive year, with registration for the Malaysian leg kicking off on April 21, 2025. This iconic series continues to elevate the regional running scene by blending innovative race concepts with a strong sense of community across Asia.

In 2024, the Garmin Run Asia Series witnessed an impressive turnout of nearly 100,000 runners, both on the ground and virtually, across nine Asian regions, including Malaysia. This remarkable achievement doubled the participation from the previous year, embodying the inspiring spirit of “From Zero to Hero.”

Building on this incredible momentum, Garmin Malaysia is set to officially open registration for the Garmin Run Asia Series 2025 – Malaysia. Returning to the familiar grounds of Dataran Putrajaya, this annual event has evolved into a dynamic movement that empowers individuals from all walks of life to challenge their limits and embrace their personal journey from zero to hero.

Following the overwhelming response in 2024, which saw over 12,000 participants in Malaysia alone, Garmin Malaysia is committed to enhancing the experience in 2025. The signature 10km and 21km distances will once again be featured, promising an even more immersive and electrifying event atmosphere. Whether you are a seasoned marathoner or just starting your serious running journey, this event offers a fantastic opportunity to be part of a vibrant celebration of endurance, perseverance, and community spirit.

This year, the Garmin Run Asia Series is expanding its reach to ten destinations across Asia, including Indonesia, Taiwan, Vietnam, Singapore, Korea, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Hong Kong, and Japan, further uniting the spirit of running with more communities than ever before.

Leading up to the main event in November, Garmin Malaysia will also host the annual Garmin Asia Virtual Run Challenge from June to August. This virtual event provides runners with the flexibility to complete their 10KM or 21KM challenges from any location.

A total of 14 lucky winners from each region will stand a chance to win exciting prizes, including Garmin products and products from official sponsors. The fastest runner in each category will be awarded flight tickets along with a coveted race slot for the Garmin Run Asia Series 2025 in Taipei.
